Adebisi Shank were formed in August 2006. Mick and Lar had been playing with
Terrordactyl and met Vin who was working on The Vinny Club at the time. They
played some local shows and in early 2007 they self recorded and released
their debut EP (with the help of a small DIY label called Armed Ambitions).
They gigged this EP extensively in Ireland through the year and in late 2007
ventured into the UK and mainland Europe, with label mates, Marvins Revolt
to great response. The band regrouped in 2008 to begin writing their debut
album recorded by legendary Independent producer/musician, J. Robbins (Jawbox,
Channels, Faraquet, Clutch).
