Jeremy Barnes of the seemingly disbanded Neutral Milk Hotel is the genius behind this scintillating project. Two members, & many an instrument. At the live show, Barnes alone has his beloved accordian close to his chest at all times, but uses the rest of his body (including a hat with bells attached and a drumstick protruding from the right hand side) to rotate between cymbal, gong, bass drum, and bongo. Quite a spectacle. This is complicated by Heather Trost, dilligently playing her violin and creating a feeling of revolution & of shantydom.
