LiveWire Promotions presents three of Cork's finest for an evening of great live music…

~~"Arm the Elderly"

Arm The Elderly have a simple plan. Play it loud and make it groove, play to a crowd and make 'em move.

They arrived on the live scene in Ireland in late 05 with a blistering high-energy show which has become their trademark and has led to support slots to "The Sultans Of Ping", "Republic Of Loose" and "Public Enemy". A favourite on the Cork scene.

~~"Joe Rubix"

Separately they are simply three solitary lads with nothing much to do. Combined they are an instrumental three piece ready to rock your fucking socks, or any item of clothes you choose. Garnering a reputation and strong following, they have since proved their mettle with the capture of the UCC Battle of the Bands 2007. A unique band that transcends the mundane classifications of music they are a must-see for music lovers of any genre….

Snowman are one of Ireland's most exciting new bands blending beautiful music with a vibrant and unique live show. Their live shows have been described as manic orgies of fun filled mayhem, while their music as mixture of melodic-art rock, funk, pop and one or two stoned psycho gypsy riffs.

The Evening Echo says, "..the one to watch in 2007..."

Doors at 8.30pm, with tickets available for purchase at the Old Oak for

EUR7 or alternatively EUR8 on the night.
