Formed in 2004 when asked to play a charity gig as a favour for a friend, Carbon
Copy have been an active part of the Cork music scene ever since. The band
consists of Cian Mc Sweeny on guitar and vocals, Dave Walsh on Bass, Rory Clune
on keyboards, guitar and backing vocals and Vincent Power on drums. The
widespread enthusiastic reaction to the bands initial original material prompted
them to continue writing. Carbon Copy have gained a reputation as an energetic
and exciting live act and recently won the UCC Battle of the Bands. The music
incorporates a divine range of styles from heartfelt melodies to edgy rock
songs, and much more in between.
