‘All in Time' The Stunning Debut Single From Declan O' Brien All In Time is the impressive debut single from singer songwriter Declan O' Brien. The single which was co-produced with Karl Odlum (The Frames, Mic Christophor) is his first release to the Irish public and there are many more to come. To support the release of his single, Declan O' Brien will be embarking on a nationwide tour this April. Declan O' Brien first realised music was a kind of magic when he accidentally taped 'Every Breath You Take' by The Police off the radio much to his mothers amusement. He then fell inlove with the eclectic sounds and developed an interest that would influence his entire life. Musical influences include Massive Attack, Beck, The Police, David Bowie, Leonard Cohen, Pearl Jam and Radiohead. His songs have a soft rock edge with an up tempo uncluttered sound. He began his musical career learning drums at the tender age of eleven. By the time he was fifteen he had learned to play guitar and wrote his first song. By seventeen he was playing with Cork band 'Limited Edition' touring the country. He began crafting his own songs and style of performance and by the age of twenty he had established himself as a solo artist performing on a regular basis around the college and singer songwriter circuit. Declan O' Brien then gained the interest of a number of managers and promoters and began playing support gigs with some of Ireland's most established bands including Aslan, The Hot House Flowers and The Four of Us. In 2002 Declan O' Brien moved to Dublin and began working at music full time releasing an Ep which sold two thousand copies from live gigs alone. He then decided to broaden his horizons and made the move overseas to New York in 2004 to make his mark on American soil. He steadily built a fan base and graced the stages of New York's legendary club circuit venues including the Bitter End and Arelene's Grocery and secured a tour across the east coast with Jess Klien. The tour saw him play to crowds of up to a thousand students all eager to hear the band they had been addicted to on college radio. Declan returned home in 2005 to begin work on his debut album with producer Arthur O 'Leary. In his search for a backing band Declan recruited some of Cork's best musicians to play their part on the album. Over the last year Declan has toured extensively with acts such as Damien Dempsey, John Spillane and Declan O'Rourke and has been honing in on the craft of recording and producing. All in Time is the superb new single from Declan O Brien
