2007 saw the release of JesterâEUR™s debut single âEURœMariaâEUR, which without the backing of a label or management company achieved No.40 in the IRMA Irish Chart, âEURœMariaâEUR also featured on The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show & could be regularly heard spinning on Beat Fm.

This offering was produced by Martin Quinn of Jam Studios, Co.Meath is a true reflection of the band musically and personally. Each member of Jester has extremely different musical tastes but they all agree this record incorporates the bands diverse musical interests and the result is something very original and exciting In the summer of 2001, members of various bands with very different styles decided to get together to rehearse.

Colly Dempsey, Tommy Maher, Mark OâEUR™ Dwyer, Phil Ryan & Jonny Gleeson were quick to realise this band had a future and the name Jester was chosen to represent the group. The band originally started out rehearsing tracks by artists that influential on Jester such as The Stone Roses, The Kinks, Neil Young and many more.

To date the lads have played headline shows in established venues as The Sugar Club, Eamon Doranns, Voodoo Lounge & Dolans Warehouse. Jester also recorded a live track on The Miriam OâEUR™Callaghan show on RTE which is due to be aired this summer.

During the course of their touring the lads have been fortunate enough to have played a successful 45 minute show @ Oxegen 06 and toured with established Irish bands such as The Blizzards & Director. With a wealth of live experience & song writing ability, Jester are hoping that 2007 will see the band achieve an established status in the Irish Music Industry.
