In the current climate of so-called overnight success stories fueled by reality TV, its worth reflecting on Ryan Sheridan's rise to date. The beginning of 2010 saw him and partner in rhythm Artur Grazcyk eeking out a living playing to passing tourists on the cobbles in Temple Bar. Spotted by management in the spring and signed to Rubyworks in the summer, his debut single 'Jigsaw' had its first Irish radio play in July.

The track went on to be one of the biggest radio hits of 2010 into 2011; and this, coupled with a winning 'have van, will travel' approach to live work have honed them into a lean, mean gigging machine with two sold out Irish tours already on the clock.

Proving that 'Jigsaw' was no fluke, and showing the extraordinary leaps and bounds he has made as a song-writer, 'The Day You Live Forever' was recorded in Dublin with producer Joe Chester (The Coronas, Mundy) and mixed in the UK by Ruardhri Cushnan (Mumford & Sons, KT Tunstall). Ten original Ryan Sheridan compositions, showcasing a delightful, nuanced gift for a memorable tune which marks him out as one the years brightest new talents on the verge of a major breakthrough.
