Irish Drum n Bass, Dub and Jungle from down by the Lee, astralized vocals, spectral guitars, sub-bass bombings, glittering keys and Trí eye beats, blips and bleeps.
This year Wiggle is all about getting its music out to the people. They have just finished producing their first EP release, containing four tracks including, "Dub a Star 1", and "Brighten the World".
Before their new EP was back from the factory, Wiggle were already working on their first album recording. With 13 thirteen tracks, covering all wiggle favourites like "Friday", "sea of Green", and "Dadadadada".
Wiggle play drum machines, sequencers, samplers, computers, theramin, keyboards, melodica and occasional box accordion with electric and bass guitar. Toby Eaton sings and chants rhythm as the performance flows from the beginning to end without stops.
Blending roots reggae with drum and bass beats strumming bleeps and loops and filling spaces with sounds from the spectrum. Although, Wiggles live structure remains, each performance is a unique improvisation as the music journeys through the dance.
You may experience the urge to wiggle more and more intensely, as dub reggae jungle rythms, eclectic guitar riffs and groovy bass lines ricochet and vibrate the collective space
